If you have completed a university degree in English, you do not need to provide proof of English language competency. This is the only exception.

240 ECTS is the equivalent of 4 finished years of studies (either a 4 year BA or a 3 year BA and 1 or 2 year MA).

Unfortunately, professional experience does not replace credits.

The motivation letter for the scholarship explains why you should be granted a scholarship, it is a different motivation letter.

Sworn translations are enough. Apostille or legalizations are not necessary for translations.

There is no specific format for motivation letters. There are no specific requirements for CV pictures either.

Applications cannot be modified once submitted.

As we receive over 900 applications for scholarships only, we cannot provide personal feedback. Most applications are very good, we simply shortlist the best candidates out of these good applications.

Not for the scholarship, unfortunately. You may apply as a self funded student but all shortlisted candidates for scholarships must have completed their degree prior to applying.

As we receive many applications, your project is a criteria of selection. It can either be already launched or at the state of an idea. It need to be aligned with the SDGs.

No. There is no application fees to the EMMIE programme.

EMMIE does not offer advance payments. The scholarships starts on the first day of the programme. 

Your English certificate needs to be uploaded in the application form (as PDF).

Applicants are expected to upload the recommendation letters themselves through the form.

Only certified translators can translate your documents. You do not need to get them apostilled.

Unfortunately, you need to have at least a certificate of completion before applying to the full scholarship. This does not apply to self funded applications.

Unfortunately, we need a (valid) passport for you to apply.

There are no rules in place regarding family members joining students for the duration of the program, however the universities only provide visa documents for the students, not for their families. Any documentation or approvals needed for family members is the responsibility of the individual student.

Not at the moment. However, students are encouraged to take internships during summer break. We can offer help finding the internships.
